MMA community reacts to new UFC-Reebok 'Fight Kit' uniforms

And the reaction was pretty much what you expected.

Jayne Kamin-Oncea-USA TODAY Sports

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) held a special media press conference earlier today (Tues., June 30, 2015) in New York City to unveil its long-awaited "Fight Kit" uniforms from Reebok.

Watch the video replay here and get your first look at the outfits, broken down into the country kit, the universal kit, and the championship kit (additional pics here).

The new wardrobe regulations, which will officially debut at UFC 189 on July 11, 2015 in Las Vegas, Nevada, will require all mixed martial arts (MMA) fighters under contract with ZUFFA to wear official Reebok uniforms, which means the days of multiple logos plastered all over fight shorts are gone.

That little fact didn't make too many fighters (and their accountants) happy. Neither did the multiple fails that were blamed on a database glitch. So how did the athletes -- and the rest of the MMA community -- react to the new look?
