Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) will hold a special press conference today (Weds., June 3, 2015) in conjunction with its annual fighter summit in Las Vegas, Nevada, to unveil its new and improved drug testing program, first teased back in February in the wake of multiple failures.
In addition to any drug-testing news, expected to be announced by UFC Vice President of Athlete Health and Performance, Jeff Novitzky, the world's largest mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion will also reveal its athlete marketing and development initiative.
That program will help fighters make better use of the short window afforded in combat sports by improving health and wellness, in addition to life skills and post-MMA training that eases the transition from athlete to regular Joe. After all, not every fighter will make "Anderson Silva money."
The live stream begins at 2 p.m. ET in the video player below.
