Bellator 138 video replay: Kimbo Slice survives rear-naked choke, finishes Ken Shamrock in first round

Who said this spectacle wasn't going to be exciting?

In the main event of Bellator 138 tonight (Fri., June 19, 2015) live on Spike TV from the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri, Kimbo Slice survived a deep rear-naked choke against Ken Shamrock to get back to his feet and finish "The World's Most Dangerous Man" in the first round of action.

Shamrock wanted none of the game on the feet, shooting early and often on the 40-year-old Kimbo Slice but found little success at first. Later in the round "Shammy" landed a rather easy double leg and as Slice tried to get back to his feet, he took his back and sank what appeared to be a fight-ending rear-naked choke. But the bearded veteran survived, escaped back mount and returned to his feet to batter a flummoxed Shamrock. Referee "Big" John McCarthy stepped in as soon as Shamrock was dropped to end the fight at 2:22 into the very first round.

Well, I guess that ends that age old question of what happens when two washed up MMA veterans out of the game for the past five years go head to head in a tilt that should have been held a decade ago.
