Streaking Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) heavyweight contender Ben Rothwell isn't wasting any time after his first-round submission win over Matt Mitrione last weekend in New Orleans (watch it), promptly calling out No. 4-ranked Andrei Arlovski for a 265-pound showdown later this year.
"I think Andrei Arlovski and I should dance," No. 8-ranked Rothwell said after his victory over Mitrione. "He's ranked fourth and some people are already talking about him getting the next title shot. I think him and I should fight next."
As for "The Pitbull?"
"It's totally up to UFC," Arlovski replied with a smile. "He's a character. At this point, every top-10, top-15 fighter in my division is dangerous and it will be an honor to fight all of them."
I think the fact that UFC has Arlovski in Mexico to watch the Cain Velasquez vs. Fabricio Werdum heavyweight title fight (more on that here) does not bode well for "Big" Ben's chances.
