Anthony Perosh doesn't hang out inside the Octagon very long, with four first round victories under the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) umbrella.
Tonight (Sat., May 9, 2015), Sean O'Connell flipped the script inside Adelaide Entertainment Centre in Adelaide, Australia.
"The Real OC" wasted little time, storming out of his corner winging loaded punches at "Hippo." Perosh, a Brazilian jiu-jitsu stylist, was more than willing to oblige in the stand up department. However, as O'Connell backed him up against the cage, he connected with a monster left hook that appeared to have the local fighter out on his feet.
Indeed, O'Connell kept battering him along the cage and Perosh was seemingly out on his feet. The referee saw enough and stepped in to waive off the Light Heavyweight match at just 56 seconds.
Perosh initially disputed the stoppage as early, but it was clear that he was punch drunk -- O'Connell drilled him with several clean, heavy shots. It's amazing that he was actually able to remain upright.
Beatdown!
