Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) expects heavyweight fists to fly during its upcoming UFC Fight Night 65 mixed martial arts (MMA) main event "Down Under," scheduled for later tonight (Sat., May 9, 2015) inside the Adelaide Entertainment Centre in Adelaide, South Australia.
That's where portly power puncher Mark Hunt will battle fellow heavyweight slugger Stipe Miocic.
Hunt (10-9-1) is coming off a heartbreaking loss to Fabricio Werdum in the UFC 180 pay-per-view (PPV) main event, one that cost him the division's interim championship, as well as a chance to unify the titles when Cain Velasquez returns from injury.
The good news is, a few big wins and he's right back in the thick of things.
The same can be said for Miocic (12-2), who dropped a razor-thin unanimous decision to former heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos at the UFC on FOX 13 event last December. Coming up short against "Cigano" snapped a three-fight winning streak.
