Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) middleweight kingpin Chris Weidman is now a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt.
Which would make a submission loss to Vitor Belfort hilarious.
Weidman goes toe-to-toe with "The Phenom" at the upcoming UFC 187: "Johnson vs. Cormier" pay-per-view (PPV) event, which takes place on Sat., May 23, 2015 inside MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
And the "All American" will be well equipped.

These two were expected to hook 'em up at the UFC 184 mixed martial arts (MMA) event last February in Los Angeles, Calif.; however, Weidman was injured in training camp and forced to postpone his latest 185-pound title defense, much to the chagrin of "The Phenom."
Sorry, no interim title for you.
On the flip side, it was Belfort who canceled their first proposed meeting at UFC 175 when he flunked his pre-fight drug test, the cause for all of the recent hoops he was forced to jump through. Now all we need is for both champion and challenger to make weight and we have ourselves a co-main event.
