Ink meets paper, deals get done, and two more heavyweight prospects are signed to Bellator MMA.
Fight fans have plenty to look forward to with the latest additions to the Bellator roster. Ewerton Teixeira (3-0 in MMA) is a 2008 K-1 Fukuoka Champion who owns wins over renowned fighters like Keijiro Maeda and Jerome Le Banner. He's 11-4 overall in his kickboxing career.
At only 33 years old, he's got plenty of time to make a run in the Bellator ranks.
That's only if "The Samoan Silverback" doesn't beat him to the top. Lorenzo Hood is 9-2 as a pro and on a three-fight winning streak, and he's got crushing power in his hands, winning 100 PERCENT of his victories by KO or TKO.
Fight fans may also be interested in the fact that Hood is from the vaunted Blackzilian team and is considered to be a direct disciple of "Suga" Rashad Evans, so you might just see him in the background on The Ultimate Fighter 21.
