K.J. Noons vs Alex Oliveira full fight video highlights from UFC Fight Night 67 last night

Whether your ready to hit the home run or not, when your number is called, you better be ready to swing.

That's just what Alex Oliveira did last night (Sat., May 30, 2015) at UFC Fight Night 67, after accepting a short notice fight against K.J. Noons, which went down inside Goiania Arena in Goiania, Brazil.

After eating a few of KJ's strikes early, Oliveira eventually got inside to close the distance on the boxer, and proceeded to slam him to the canvas him repeatedly (recap here).

It was during a grappling exchange that the Brazilian eventually took K.J.'s back long enough to sink in the hooks, and eventually the fight-ending rear-naked choke. And yes, all of that action went down in the first round.

The loss ended K.J.'s two-fight win streak, but the win put Alex back in the win column after getting submitted by Gilbert Burns earlier this year at UFC Fight Night 62.
