Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) featherweight No. 1 contender, Conor McGregor, tried to make a fool out of reigning division kingpin, Jose Aldo, by snatching his 145-pound title during last month's UFC 189 "World Tour," a traveling circus designed to promote their July 11 pay-per-view (PPV) fight in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Following grab-gate, there was much discussion in the mixed martial arts (MMA) blogosphere about what would happen if future contenders attempted to pull off the same move, prompting former UFC champion and hall-of-fame inductee Bas Rutten to demonstrate his belt-snatching defense.
At the expense of Kenny Florian.
No doubt Rutten was a big fan of the Greek Games in Revenge of the Nerds, where a similar technique was used to foil the ooh ... ah ... Alpha-Betas. Not sure why that got UFC Tonight co-host Daniel Cormier so hot under the collar ... maybe because of this?
