World Series of Fighting (WSOF) continues to bolster its line-up for WSOF 21, which takes place at Edmonton Expo Centre in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, on June 5, 2015, airing live that night on NBC Sports Network.
Joining a card already headlined by Featherweight Lance Palmer making his first title defense against "The Polish Hammer" Chris Horodecki is a new bout that will showcase two Featherweight prospects - Hakeem Dawodu and Chuka "The Lion King" Willis. Both men are a perfect (4-0) so far in their respective mixed martial arts (MMA) careers.
WSOF President Ray Sefo offered his thoughts on this newly announced fight:
"This fight between two WSOF’s best 145 pound prospects should serve as a fantastic kick off to an incredible night of action. With two titles and the career trajectories of these two unbeaten talents all on the line, WSOF’s 21st event is a pivotal night for at least six of our fighters."
In addition to the already announced bouts for WSOF 21, today's announcement revealed that Welterweight Mark Drummond will face Michael Hill in a new swing bout. In addition, Lightweight Jose Rodriguez will replace the injured Mukai Maromo for a match with Stephen Beaumont.
