Ronda Rousey: Dream fight would be against Jon Jones, because 'we'd do some crazy ninja stuff'

Jayne Kamin-Oncea-USA TODAY Sports

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey, no stranger to the "man vs. woman" debate in combat sports, has been fantasy matched against everyone from absentee mixed martial arts (MMA) star Gina Carano to boxing icon Floyd Mayweather.

But her dream fight?

According to her recent fan Q&A with The Wall Street Journal (via MMA Fighting), it's none other than former light heavyweight champion Jon Jones.

"Dream world like skills-wise or annoying me-wise? Does size count? Could we just go from anybody's skills? Like dream match, skills-wise, I would love to see where I would go with Jon Jones because he's the one most able to improvise within a match, which is something I really pride myself on. I think we'd do some crazy ninja stuff. And then Bryan Caraway's really annoying. It would be fun to beat him up, but plenty of other people have gotten that pleasure before me, apparently."

The video:

Rousey had some words for Caraway and girlfriend Miesha Tate as far back as the Strikeforce days (more on that feud here).

And since "Bones" is suspended indefinitely (because of this), Rousey will have to settle for Brazilian bomber Bethe Correia, who tries to hand "Rowdy" her first-ever loss -- and strip the 135-pound strap -- in the UFC 190 pay-per-view (PPV) event this August.

More on that upcoming fight here.
