Michael Bisping vs. Thales Leites main event set for UFC Fight Night 72 on July 18 in Scotland

Joining them in the co-main event will be a lightweight barnburner pitting Ross Pearson opposite Evan Dunham.

UFC

We finally have our five-round headliner for the upcoming UFC Fight Night 72 mixed martial arts (MMA) event on July 18, 2015 inside SSE Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland, expected to air on FOX Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass.

Michael Bisping vs. Thales Leites.

Bisping (26-7) has been consistently inconsistent, alternating wins and losses since his coaching gig on The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 14 way back in late 2011. While his middleweight title hopes have all but vanished during that 4-4 span, he's still one of the toughest outs at 185 pounds.

Just ask CB Dollaway.

After a forgettable UFC run back in 2009, Leites (25-4) returned to the regional circuit and went on an absolute tear. The Brazilian ground wizard is the winner of eight straight and has now finished his last three opponents. Stopping Bisping would be a surefire way to get his name into the 185-pound title discussion.

That's not all.

Hot-and-cold lightweight striker Ross Pearson (17-8, 1 NC) makes his way to the cage for a three-round co-main event against the venerable Evan Dunham (15-6). "Real Deal" is fresh off a brutal knockout win over Sam Stout, while the Oregonian recently put the screws to Rodrigo Damm.
