Joanne Calderwood vs. Bec Rawlings on tap for UFC Glasgow on July 18

Esther Lin

After a stunning loss to Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) debutant Maryna Moroz at UFC Fight Night 64 this past April, No. 9-ranked women's strawweight Joanne Calderwood (9-1) will get right back into the Octagon this summer to right the ship.

And "JoJo" will face off against a familiar foe.

Fellow The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 20 castmate Bec Rawlings (6-4) will look to earn her second straight UFC win as she steps into enemy territory on July 18, 2015 on the main card of UFC Fight Night 72 inside the SSE Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland.

The bout was announced on the UFC website late this afternoon.

"Rowdy" is fresh off her dominant submission victory over Lisa Ellis just two weeks ago at UFC Fight Night 65. That win snapped a two-fight losing streak for the Australian, and earned her a crack at a top-10 opponent.

Calderwood will be fighting in front of her home crowd in Scotland for the first time in over two years, so you know she will be determined to put on a show and get back in the win column.

UFC Fight Night 72 still has no definitive main event just yet, but UFC officials did announce Joseph Duffy's return, as the Irishman takes on Ivan Jorge.
