Mayweather vs Pacquiao winner: Bruce Buffer breaks his own prediction rule

New, comments

As the long-time announcer for Ultimate Fighting Championship UFC), Bruce Buffer never makes predictions for upcoming mixed martial arts (MMA) fights in an attempt to stay as neutral and professional as possible.

In fact, he rarely makes predictions for boxing fights, too.

But since the upcoming mega fight between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquaio -- which goes down later tonight (Sat., May 2, 2015) inside MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada -- is not your everyday fight, Buffer has broken his own rule for "The Buzzer," picking "Pac Man" to come out victorious after 12 long rounds.

The odds that the fight goes the distance are pretty favorable (see them here). But, Pacquiao earning the nod in the end is a bit of a long shot at 12:1.

Do you agree with the man with the mic?
