Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao will finally collide tonight (Sat., May 2, 2015) in a blockbuster Welterweight championship unification match more than five years in the making. "Mayweather vs. Pacquiao" is a joint pay-per-view (PPV) event between premium cable competitors HBO and Showtime, which aligned for just the second time ever to deliver the "Fight of the Century" to living rooms and bars worldwide.
Unless you live in Mexico, which will offer the PPV for free, it will cost $89.95 to order "Mayweather vs. Pacquiao" in the United States later this evening and an additional $10 for the high-definition (HD) experience.
The "Mayweather vs. Pacquiao" PPV start time is set for 9 p.m. ET, featuring just two matches between WBC Super Bantamweight World Champion Leo Santa Cruz vs. Jose Cayetano and WBO Featherweight Champion Vasyl Lomachenko vs. Gamalier Rodriguez before the highly anticipated main event gets going around 11:30 p.m. ET.
There is also a four-fight un-televised undercard for fight fans fortunate enough to be inside MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, tonight. To see what's on tap click here.
To watch the PPV, which features the big Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Manny Pacquiao Welterweight championship main event, as well as the other aforementioned match ups, you can call up Comcast, Time Warner, Verizon or your local cable and/or satellite provider (DirecTV, DISH Network, etc.) and order the show on your television.
In fact, DISH Network is actually running a special right now that allows new subscribers to get the PPV fight at no cost. The catch? New customers must agree to a 24-month contract with DISH. If you are interested, you must mention offer code "BOXING" at time of order.
