Even with the pay-per-view (PPV) start time finally set for 9 p.m. tonight (Sat., May 2, 2015) inside MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada (full programming details here), the disagreements and nit-picking between the two camps -- Mayweather Promotions and Top Rank -- still continue down to the wire.
First it was a cup check. Then it was a glove check. And then it was the order of the televised undercard fights on PPV.
Pacquiao's camp was successful with the first two un-important non-issues, but it appears it will have to concede on the bout order.
WBC Super Bantamweight World Champion Leo "El Terremoto" Santa Cruz (29-0-1, 17 KOs) -- a Mayweather Promotions fighter -- will be featured in the co-main event against Jose Cayetano (17-3, 8 KOs) in a 10-round, non-title Featherweight (126 pounds) showdown.
Top Rank's top Featherweight, Vasyl Lomachenko, meanwhile, will kickoff the PPV action, defending his world title against Galamlier Rodriguez.
