World Series of Fighting (WSOF) is stacking the undercard line-up for its next big show, WSOF 21: "Palmer vs. Horodecki," which will take place at Edmonton Expo Centre in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, on June 5, 2015.
In the main event, Featherweight champion Lance Palmer (9-1) will make his first title defense since beating Rick Glenn for the title at WSOF 16 in Dec. 2014. His opponent will be veteran 145-pound veteran Chris Horodecki, who at 21-5-1 (1) has nearly three times as many bouts under belt.
Heavyweight Smealinho Rama (9-1) will also make his first defense of the belt in the co-main event, having smashed Derrick Mehmen in 51 seconds to become the inaugural title holder. He'll face former Bellator Heavyweight Blagoi Ivanov, 11- 1 (1 NC) in his quest to put a major promotion's gold around his waist.
Before all that action begins on NBC Sports Network at 9 p.m. ET on fight night, however, WSOF will serve up a six-fight undercard that will stream online at WSOF.com.
Lightweights Stephen Beaumont (7-2) vs. Mukai Maromo (8-4), Light Heavyweights Victor Valimaki (18-9) vs. Thiago Goncalves (17-4), Welterweights Mark Drummond (7-2) vs. Michael Hill (7-3), Lightweights Garret Nybakken (7-7) vs. Nick Hrabec (3-1), Middleweights Marcus Hicks (20-24) vs. Matt Baker (12-7) and Lightweights Mike Scarcello (7-3-1) vs. Dan Lariviere (4-2) are now all set to join the action.
