The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 21 Finale, which settles the final score between American Top Team (ATT) and the Blackzilians, has been given a new location -- as well as a new main event -- for the upcoming FOX Sports 1 telecast on July 12.
TUF 21 Finale will be headlined by the welterweight showdown pitting Jake Ellenberger vs. Stephen Thompson, who were originally expected to throw hands at the UFC 189 pay-per-view (PPV) event on Sat., July 11, 2015 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Fortunately for them, the change will be a minor one.
"Juggernaut" now faces "Wonderboy" the following night (Sun., July 12) in the same location.
TUF 21 will cap off International Fight Week, much the same way the one-two punch of UFC 175 and TUF 19 did back in 2014, closing out the week long fan-friendly event with back-to-back fight cards in "Sin City." That could push the Ben Henderson vs. Michael Johnson fight to the co-main event.
Or perhaps move it to another card altogether.
Also scheduled for the TUF 21 Finale is the 170-pound welterweight final pitting the two remaining members of the combat sports reality show, as well as a welterweight showdown between Jorge "Gamebred" Masvidal and Cezar "Mutante" Ferreira.
