Think Frankie Edgar and Urijah Faber are bound to go to a decision?
Well, consider that both former champions -- Edgar at 155 pounds and Faber less than a stone lighter -- are both coming off back-to-back finishes. Perhaps the most impressive statistic between the two are the 19 submission wins held by "The California Kid."
The ground is probably the last place you want to be against the former WEC kingpin.
Then again, "The Answer" has never been finished in 23 professional mixed martial arts (MMA) fights, which makes this Saturday's (May 16, 2015) headliner at UFC Fight Night 66 inside SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay, Philippines, must-see TV.
Fortunately, most of it airs on FOX Sports 1.
To help get fight fans amped for this five-round showdown, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is showcasing a pair of "Best of" videos for both combatants. First up is Edgar, who completely dominated Cub Swanson before tapping him out last year in Texas.
Next up is Faber, who was paired off against the new breed in heavy-handed Michael McDonald. There is an old proverb that says "experience fears the strength of youth," but it didn't do much for "Mayday" at UFC on FOX 9 in late 2013.
Any chance this FOX Sports 1 main event bucks the submission trend and ends by way of knockout?
