Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) heads to the Philippines this weekend for the first time for an early morning "Fight Night" mixed martial arts (MMA) extravaganza.
UFC Fight Night 66: "Edgar vs. Faber" goes down this Saturday morning (May 16, 2015), LIVE on FOX Sports 1 from inside Mall of Asia Arena in Manila, Philippines. As the name implies, the five-round main event features a featherweight super fight pitting Urijah Faber against Frankie Edgar.

Round 1: Both men circling in the center. Faber shoots in off a right hand, gets denied and clocked with a right on the exit. One minute in. Both are falling short with their strikes at the moment. Coutner right by Faber, spinning back kick from Edgar. Teep by Faber, then a counter right. Two minutes in. Low kick from Edgar, expect to see lots of those. Counter uppercut by Frankie. Nasty overhand right from Faber lands clean, doesn't faze Frankie. Edgar shoots and grabs the rear waistlock as Faber stands. Two minutes to go.
Frankie kneeing the thigh, tries to dump Faber. Faber breaks his grip and separates. Faber low kick. One minute to go. Frankie answers. Check hook by Faber. Edgar low kick. Edgar tries a trip that doesn't take. Close round. 10-9 Edgar.
Round 2: Body kick from Urijah, then a clean knee to the head. Frankie with an uppercut on the break. Frankie tries a spinning back kick and nearly gets his back taken. Urijah gets the better of a quick exchange in the center. Frankie snaps his head back with an uppercut. Frankie ties up and takes him to the fence, bringing Urijah down. Faber pops right back up. Costas regains half guard. Mousasi lands a hammerfist and right hand. Two good punches by Gegard. Two minutes in. Costas regains full guard, eats more solid, accurate punches. Mousasi avoids an armbar attempt and passes to half guard. Two minutes to go.
Mousasi staying tight, landing short blows. Mousasi works for an arm-triangle, Costas gets his arm free. One minute to go. Costas looking for deep half guard, can't get it. Mousasi looks for another arm-triangle for a few moments. Bell. 10-9 Mousasi.
Round 2: Costas whiffs on a spinning back fist. Low kick from Gegard. Gegard drives through on another takedown. Costas working to stand using the fence, does so. Costas moving forward, eats another low kick. Body kick by Costas. One minute in. Brief takedown attempt from the Cypriot. Lead hook lands for Gegard, after which they trade leg kicks. Lead right by Gegard. Costas takes one to the groin, prompting a pause. Two minutes in. Costas tries to press forward and gets dumped once more. Gegard passes straight to side control and works for a Kimura. He drops it and moves to north-south, then the opposite side control. Two minutes to go.
Half guard now. Some short elbows from Mousasi land. One minute to go. More short ground-and-pound by the Armenian veteran. This keeps up until the bell. 10-9 Mousasi.
Round 3: Check hook from Gegard, who has a nice welt near his right temple. Costas falling short with all of his punching attempts. Another check hook lands for Gegard, along with his signature jab. Leg kick by Costas. 1-2 from Mousasi. One minute in. Left hook connects for Philippou. 1-2 again by Mousasi. Gegard changes levels and yet again scores an easy takedown into guard. Two minutes in. Ground-and-pound by Gegard. Costas controlling posture and wrists, not making a huge effort to stand. Two minutes to go.
Gegard in half guard. Costas just holding on, really, but does manage to regain guard, eating some hard elbows as he does. One minute to go. Good shots from the former Strikeforce champ. Gegard continues landing and nearly passes to mount at the bell. 10-9 Mousasi.

Round 1: Munoz connects with an overhand right, the first blow of the fight. Barnatt connects on a stepping knee and slaps on a guillotine as he's taken down, which Munoz gets out of. Barnatt scrambles back up, but Munoz is relentless. One minute in. Munoz pressing him against the fence. Barnatt circles off, only to get blasted with punches. Munoz ties up briefly, then follows Barnatt as he circles on the fence. Two minutes in. Barnatt returns to his feet, still clinched. Munoz slings him around and dumps him again. Ground-and-pound from Munoz as he ragdolls Barnatt. BIG right hand by Munoz. Barnatt on his back, eating heavy shots. He makes it to his feet, but backs himself to the fence again and gets tied up. Barnatt trips him down, then manages to separate briefly when they stand. One minute to go.
Barnatt can't stay off the fence. Munoz marching forward with confidence. Overhand right from Munoz. Munoz ties up on the fence and the round ends there. 10-9 Munoz.
Round 2: Both men try head kicks. Munoz eats a knee coming in, still ties up on the cage. One minute in. Munoz tries a high-crotch, can't get it and eats a pair of Browne elbows. Barnatt hits a trip, Munoz right back up and they jockey for position. Knee from Barnatt before the separation. Two minutes in. Munoz slams Barnatt down with a high-crotch into guard. Barnatt sweeps his way up, Munoz changes levels. Two minutes to go.
Munoz fighting for a single-leg. Barnatt with a knee to the gut. They separate and return to the center. A tired-looking Munoz lands a left hook. Barnatt moving forward and drills him with a knee to the body. Munoz tries a low single he can't complete. One minute to go. Munoz rebuffed on another takedown, smacks him with an overhand right that has Barnatt asking for more. Bell. 10-9 Barnatt.
Round 3: Barnatt on the advance immediately. Munoz cracks him with another pair of overhands that back him off. Munoz in on a leg, can't get it. Another cracking right from Munoz, who opens up on the fence with heavy blows. One minute in. Munoz drags him down on the cage. Barnatt on all fours, returns to his feet. Munoz pressing him against the fence, gets drilled with an elbow. Two minutes in. Mark gets him to his seat and lands a hard right before Barnatt stands. Two big punches from the Filipino Wrecking Machine. Barnatt tries a high kick. Yet another huge right by Munoz. Barnatt whacks him with a knee to the body as Munoz press forward and shoots in, putting the big man on his seat. Two minutes to go.
Barnatt makes it to his feet with Munoz still attached. One minute to go. Munoz rolls Barnatt to his back and lands in guard. Munoz stands over him and dives in with a pair of right hands. Munoz in side control. Barnatt turtles and gets dragged back down before the bell. 10-9 Munoz.

Round 1: Magny flicking out the lead hand, circling the Korean giant. Overhand right from Lim met with two punches, which he answers with a check hook and tries to press. One minute in. Magny continuing to stick out the jab. Big 1-2 by Lim, who rushes in with a flying knee. Magny's hurt, eats a big knee to the head. Lim unloading, Magny wobbling his way around the cage. Magny ties up on the cage and slows the fight back down. Two minutes in. The fight cuts to commercial in the middle of the round for God knows what reason. Back to the action, then another, different commercial. Magny completes a takedown during the commercial break and takes the back. Two minutes to go.
Magny too high on the back and winds up on the bottom in guard. He immediately tosses up a triangle that he uses to sweep, dropping punches on Lim until the Korean surprises him with an armbar. Magny escapes and re-establishes on top. Magny passes directly to mount, landing punches. Magny takes the back and works for the rear-naked choke. One minute to go. Back to mount, but Lim shakes him off and stands. Magny shoots, Lim stuffs it and presses him against the fence. Magny separates, then blitzes Lim with a solid combination to end the round. 10-9 Magny.
Round 2: Magny now the one pressing forward. Low kick from Magny. Double right hand connects. Magny ties up and slams Lim to the mat into side control. Back to mount for Magny. Lim gives up his back, then mount again. Magny active with the ground-and-pound. One minute in. Magny flattens him out and continues dropping punches. Left hand after left hand connects and Lim isn't doing enough for the referee's liking. Magny earns the TKO after nearly being finished in the first round.

Round 2: Nover shoots immediately and gets him down. Nam looking for the switch, gets to his feet. Nover with the rear waistlock, takes him down and takes the back. Nam escapes through the back door and cracks him with a left hand. When he tries to jump into his guard, though, he runs into a triangle. One minute in. Nam gets his head out and looks for ground-and-pound. Nover tries another triangle, Nam gets out and connects with some more punches and knees on the way up. Two minutes in. Nam stalking forward. Body kick by Nover. Nover shoots and takes him to the fence. Two minutes to go.
Nover takes him down on the fence. He's not doing anything from on top. Nam returns to his feet and reverses. Knees to the thigh from the Korean, then a takedown into guard. One minute to go. Nam postures and drops a couple of punches before avoiding the triangle. More good shots by Nam. Two more big punches land before the bell. 10-9 Nam.
Round 3: Nover tries a high kick. Lead left by Nover. Nam shoots in and scores a brief takedown on the fence. Nover back to his feet. Knees to the thigh from Nam. One minute in. Nam completes a trip into guard. Nover using a butterfly hook, but Nam passes to half guard. Two minutes in. Nover looking for a guillotine, Nam pops out. Nam in mount on the cage. Short ground-and-pound by Nam, who gets caught in half guard. Nam postures up and lands punches as Nover tries to regain guard. Two minutes to go.
Nam has the grip for an arm-triangle but the fence is in the way. Just chilling out in that position. One minute to go. Nam working to pass into side control, still rebuffed by the fence. Nam loses the grip and tries to Donkey Kong his way through the final seconds. 10-9 Nam.

Round 3: Low kick from Eddiva. Side kick attempt soon after. Makashvili changes levels, Eddiva fights off a trip before Makashvili takes him to the fence. Makashvili completes a single-leg near the fence. One minute in. Eddiva back to his feet immediately. Makashvili tries to sling him down and gets the rear waistlock. He wrangles Eddiva briefly to his knees. Makashvili tosses him down into side control after some more struggling. Two minutes in. Short punches from Makashvili as Eddiva stands. High kick from Makashvili, body shot soon after. Two minutes to go.
Eddiva still looking for kicks. He steps into the clinch with a knee and looks for a single-leg. Eddiva fights it off, so Makashvili switches to a double and completes it into side control. One minute to go. Eddiva works his way to a knee, eating punches as he goes. He makes it back to his feet in the last fifteen seconds. Round ends there. 10-9 Makashvili.

Bang to the body, then tries to go high. Tuck retreats away from a combination. Tuck tries an axe kick, then levels Bang with a right hand. Tuck looking to finish with punches, takes Bang's back. Tuck traps the left hand and puts on the squeeze, earning the tap. Excellent performance by Tuck.

155 lbs.: Kajan Johnson vs. Lipeng Zhang
Round 1: Takedown early for Johnson, but Zhang gets right back up. Huge knee from Johnson as they break, but a head kick is caught by Zhang and now Johnson is down. Johnson rolls for a kneebar, switches to a heel hook, but Zhang is defending well. They get back to the feet, but Johnson has Zhang clinched up on the fence. Two hooks from Johnson as they break off from the fence. Nice movement from Johnson and he lands an overhand right. Wheel kick from Zhang misses.
Round 2: Head kick misses for Zhang, Johnson answers back with a leg kick. They are exchanging kicks, and Zhang slips. Johnson pounces and lands in full guard. They get to their feet, and Johnson has back control standing. Zhang breaks free, and they are back in the center of the cage. Leg kick from Zhang. Johnson showing off some nice movement, but he can't really land anything of worth. Zhang's kick goes low and we have a break in the action. They exchange on the restart, and Zhang lands a right hand. Johnson attempts a takedown, but eats several hammerfists. Johnson looking to take the back here, and he is kneeing Zhang's thigh. Huge elbow from Johnson to close the round.
Round 3: Within 30 seconds, we are back in the clinch. This time Zhang is in control, but he can't take Johnson down. They break free and Zhang lands a leg kick as Johnson tries to go high. Zhang is getting better of the exchanges, so Johnson takes him down. Zhang gets to his feet, but he can't break free from Johnson's grasp. Johnson attempts a kimura as they scramble on the mat, but Zhang won't allow it. Johnson is now on top of the turtled up Zhang and he rolls for a leglock, but he can't get it and the fight ends.
Final result: Kajan Johnson def. Zhang Lipeng via unanimous decision (30-27, 29-28 x2)

Round 1: Overhand right from Lima kicks off the action. Jingliang misses an uppercut, and lands a leg kick. Jingliang looking for the uppercut over and over, and Lima counters with a right hand. Huge left hook right hand combination from Jingliang and Lima is down! After a brutal flurry on the mat, the referee calls it. Huge victory for Jingliang.
