UFC Fight Night 62 drug test results released (Updated)

UPDATE: A "communication error" has revealed one positive test for steroids (full story here).

Jason da Silva-USA TODAY Sports

Brazilian MMA Athletic Commission (CABMMA) today released the drug test results for UFC Fight Night 62 on FOX Sports 1, which took place inside Maracanazinho Gymnasium in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on Sat., March 21, 2015.

Results from the pre- and post-fight drug tests, which include performance-enhancing drugs (PEDs) such as steroids and drugs of abuse like cocaine and marijuana, among others, all returned negative for the entire card, according to MMA Junkie.

In addition, six randomly-selected (but unidentified) participants were subjected to more enhanced blood testing (HGH and EPO), which also came back clean.

That's five straight UFC cards without a hiccup, for those of you keeping score at home.

UFC Fight Night 62 featured a five-round unanimous decision win for Demian Maia, who grappled his way to the judges' scorecards opposite Ryan LaFlare. Elsewhere on the card, Erick Silva handed Josh Koscheck yet another loss by way of first-round submission.
