Quinton Jackson just got the news that he's no longer fighting Fabio Maldonado at UFC 186, after a court granted Bellator MMA an injunction to block him from competing in the April 25 pay-per-view (PPV) co-main event in Montreal, Quebec, Canada (full report here).
Ahem ... Kermit, if you would please.
Smart move Bellator! Go to a small town where your company knows the judge,to get a judgement to pissoff your customers #aintworriedboutnothing
It ain't easy being 'Page.
Bellator MMA insists Jackson violated his contract by abandoning the Viacom-owned mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion and re-signing with UFC. It may have won the injunction battle, but the war is just getting started and will likely play out inside the courtroom over the next few months.
No word yet if Kermit will be a material witness.
