Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) welcomes longtime welterweight contender and former interim champion Carlos Condit back into the fold for the upcoming UFC Fight Night 67 mixed martial arts (MMA) event on FOX Sports 1, expected to take place inside the Goiania Arena in Goiania, Brazil, on Sat., May 30, 2015.

Waiting for him in the five-round headliner will be fellow ex-No. 1 contender Thiago Alves, who like "The Natural Born Killer," is hoping to make another run at the 170-pound strap after battling injuries over the past few years. "The Pitbull" has a nice head start, already up 2-0 since his Octagon return last April.

It should be noted that Condit already holds a technical knockout win over Rory MacDonald, who faces Robbie Lawler for the division strap at UFC 189 in July. Can he get back to the promised land for a "Red King" rematch ... or will Alves give him pause?
