Fresh from his dominant decision win over Anthony Pettis at UFC 185, newly-crowned lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos recently landed in Singapore where he will be conducting a special joint seminar with ONE Championship titleholder Shinya Aoki.
It promises to be a busy month at Evolve MMA with Ben Askren set to arrive next week for the final stages of preparation for his forthcoming title fight with Luis Santos at ONE: "Valor of Champions," Aoki training for the second defense of his belt against Koji Ando at ONE: "Warrior's Quest," and Frankie Edgar spending some time in Singapore ahead of his UFC Fight Night 66 bout with Urjah Faber in Manila.
Elsewhere on the ONE: "Valor of Champions" card are Evolve MMA fighters Mark Striegl and Amir Khan, while Eddie Ng will be making his comeback at ONE: "Warrior's Quest" with his team mates Leandro Ataides, Zorobabel Moreira and Dejdamrong Sor Amnuaysirochoke also expected to be featured.
Also in preparation for an upcoming fight is Irshaad Sayed, who having already claimed the Ruff 135-pound belt is now competing in his native South Africa where he will be looking for a seventh straight win when he competes on the EFC 39 card in his hometown of Cape Town.
With so many fights booked training is likely to be intense, but on April 11th everyone in Singapore will have the opportunity to learn from Aoki and Dos Anjos in a two-hour special seminar which will take place at the flagship Orchard Central location and is open to the general public.
