PDF: Read criminal complaint against Jon Jones featuring new eyewitness testimony

Tom Szczerbowski-USA TODAY Sports

UPDATE: JON JONES IS IN POLICE CUSTODY -- READ FULL DETAILS HERE.

One of the prices of fame is being recognized wherever you go, especially where you work and play.

Such was the case for Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) light heavyweight champion Jon Jones, who was immediately identified by an off-duty police officer following his alleged role in a hit-and-run accident that sent a pregnant woman to the hospital with broken bones.

That eyewitness account and the full criminal complaint is below:

Jones is currently set to defend his 205-pound title against Anthony Johnson at the UFC 187 pay-per-view (PPV) event on May 23, 2015 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Unfortunately, the likelihood of that fight taking place seems slim in light of these latest developments, though Jones remains innocent until proven guilty.

But he may also have to answer for possession of marijuana.

Now it's just a matter of waiting for "Bones" to turn himself into the Albuquerque police, something he is expected to do by the end of the day (Mon., April 27, 2015).

Stay tuned.
