Anyone hoping to see Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women's bantamweight titleholder Ronda Rousey jump back into the ring for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) is not going to like what UFC President Dana White had to say regarding his coveted female champ.
Speaking with Fight Network's John Pollock, White was asked whether or not he would allow "Rowdy" to make another appearance in WWE -- perhaps against Ric Flair's daughter? -- and the president shut it down in one fell swoop.
His words:
"What she did on WrestleMania was awesome, it was awesome. It came off great. I loved it. She's a one and done.' One and done."
We'll see what Dana has to say when Vince McMahon slaps a check on his desk, but for now it seems unlikely Rousey will be gracing the wrestling ring for an encore performance of her WrestleMania 31 moment.
To be fair, the legendary Jim Ross noted that Rousey was merely a one-time special attraction, so the baddest woman on the planet should probably stick to MMA and her Aug. 1, 2015 title defense against Bethe Correia at UFC 190.
But hey wrestling fans, not all is lost!
