That might come as a relief for Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) fans in Montreal, Canada, who had to endure a brutal series of cancelations, scratches, replacements and reinstatements ahead of tonight's (Sat., April 25, 2015) pay-per-view (PPV) event inside Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
First it was a rib injury. Then it was a legal pissing match with Bellator MMA. All of which led to UFC dialing up a retired Canadian former NHL enforcer to compete on UFC 186's main card. And then dumping said enforcer when a court-ordered injunction was overturned four days before showtime.
But, have no fear, Michael Bisping was confident every step of the way that he alone will "electrify" the crowd!
We can only hope "The Count," as well as Flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson and "Rampage," are able to carry a patchwork card. That's because there isn't much else in the way of starpower and/or meaningful match ups at UFC 186, meaning we need solid scraps on the "Prelims" on up to make it all worthwhile.
