Following the announcement of Chris "The Cutt" Honeycutt vs. Paul "The Gentleman" Bradley at Bellator's July 17th event in Uncasville, Connecticut, the promotion has released another new fight for the Mohegan Sun Arena.
Michael "Venom" Page was originally supposed to fight at Bellator's "British Invasion" in February, but now that his cut suffered in training is no longer an issue, a new opponent has been found to face the undefeated 7-0 pro.
Rudy "Bad News" Bears (16-13) will be facing Page at the Mohegan Sun Arena on Spike TV. As is evident from his fight record, Bears is a longtime veteran of mixed martial arts (MMA), having even headlined a Strikeforce Challengers card back in 2009 against current UFC standout Tyron "T-Wood" Woodley.
Bears record may be somewhat deceptive going in. He's only batting slightly over .500 by the numbers, but Bears is on a two-fight winning streak coming out of Shamrock FC, finishing Zak Bucia by decision and submitting John Weston via second round rear naked choke.
