The dust has barely settled on UFC Fight Night 64: "Gonzaga vs. Cro Cop 2" from Krakow, Poland, which means it's time to honor those select fighters who went above and beyond in their respective fights this afternoon (Sat., April 11, 2015) inside Krakow Arena.
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) dished out its standard post-fight monetary bonuses to four of the 24 fighters on the card, and it's probably no surprise who is heading home from Krakow with a little extra grease for their efforts.
Mirko Cro Cop and Gabriel Gonzaga were recognized for their back-and-forth main event rematch, which ultimately ended with the Croatian storming back to finish the Brazilian with an assortment of devastating elbows (read full recap here). Maryna Moroz, who was making her Octagon debut, earned a little extra cheddar for her first round submission of Joanne Calderwood (read full recap here).
That's not all.
Leon Edwards need just eight seconds to starch Seth Baczynsky on the "Prelims" under card, making himself a wee-bit richer and almost breaking a record for the fastest knockout ever. Your record is safe, Duane, for now.
Here are the special UFC Fight Night 64 bonuses:
Fight of the Night -- Mirko Cro Cop vs. Gabriel Gonzaga
Performance of the Night -- Maryna Moroz
Performance of the Night -- Leon Edwards
Again, each fighter received $50,000 extra for their performances in addition to their respective base salaries, which UFC will more than likely keep confidential.
