Yesterday (March 31, 2015), Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Featherweight champion, Jose Aldo, and his bold trash-talking opponent, Conor McGregor, satisfied the final leg of the their UFC 189 world tour in Dublin, Ireland after spanning the globe over the last two weeks.
And boy did they end it with a bang.
"Notorious" caused quite a raucous when he took it upon himself to reach over and grab Aldo's belt (yet again) and hoist it up for the legions of his faithful fans to see. Thankfully, Dana White and Co. were able to intervene before things got out of control.
And if you look closely in the tenth and final installment of Embedded: "UFC 189 World Tour Edition," McGregor almost lived up to his promise of "smacking" his Brazilian counterpart, as it seemed the fiery Irishmen was moments away from taking a swing at "Junior" before White stopped him.
It's been quite a ride, but now that the touring and talking are done (for now), the combatants will now gear up to begin their training camps for what is the biggest fight of both of their respective careers on July 11, 2015, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
And maybe even in the history of the promotion.
Aldo, for one, can't wait to get back home to Brazil and sharpen his skills, vowing to "beat the shit" out of McGregor's face after having to endure his mouth and antics for 11 days.
Now, the true waiting game begins. Fingers crossed.
