The hits just keep on coming.
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) newcomer Shane Campbell will step in on short notice to throw hands against John Makdessi at the upcoming UFC 186 pay-per-view (PPV) event on April 25, 2015, locked and loaded for the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
"Shaolin" replaces the injured Abel Trujillo, who broke his arm and was forced to withdraw, according to MMA Junkie.
Campbell (11-2) is fresh off a technical knockout win over Derek Boyle at the World Series of Fighting (WSOF) event back in February. The Canadian phenom is the winner of three straight, but faces a fairly still test in the veteran Makdessi, who returns to the cage after nearly a year on the sidelines.
"The Bull" is 12-3 with eight knockouts.
UFC 186 features flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson putting his 125-pound title up for grabs against top contender Kyoji Horiguchi, while Quinton Jackson returns to the Octagon for the first time in over two years to bang it out with fellow slugger Fabio Maldonado.
