Bellator 135 fight card update: Dantas vs Richman scratched, Davis vs Tokoro promoted to co-main event

You win some, you lose some ... and some you don't even get to fight. Unfortunately, this news falls into the third category.

Popular Bellator bantamweight Mike "The Marine" Richman -- who was previously slotted for a contender eliminator match against former 135-pound champion Eduardo Dantas -- will have to sit on the sidelines for Bellator 135, which takes place inside WinStar World Casino in Thackerville, Okla., on March 27, 2015.

Richman scored finishes in his last two Bellator fights, most recently notching a first-round knockout win over veteran fighter Nam Phan in less than one minute at a catchweight of 143 pounds. A win over Dantas would have solidified his claim to be the next man to face the winner of the night's main event:

Champion Joe Warren vs. Marcos Galvao.

Because of the super short notice, a replacement opponent to fight Dantas was unavailable; therefore, Bellator MMA announced a substitution fight will move up from the "Prelims" bouts to the main card. L.C. Davis (22-6) vs. Hideo Tokoro (32-27) will now be a featured fight on Spike TV, with Dantas vs. Richman rescheduled to take place at a later date.
