And the injury bug returns.

Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) brass have decided to move forward with a ten-fight UFC Fight Night 63 card as the scheduled "Prelims" middleweight bout between The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) season 17 castmates Luke Barnatt and Clint Hester has been scrapped due to an injury.

According to UFC, "Headbussa" sustained a broken foot, and with UFC matchmakers unable to find "Bigslow" a suitable opponent for the FOX Sports 1 card on April 4, 2015 live from the Patriot Center in Fairfax, Virginia, the Englishman was pulled from the card as well.

From UFC:

Due to a broken foot, middleweight prospect Clint Hester has been forced to withdraw from his UFC Fight Night bout with Luke Barnatt on April 4.

A suitable replacement for Hester was not found, so the bout has been scrapped, with the card in Fairfax, Virginia proceeding with 10 bouts.

It seems odd UFC matchmakers could not find Barnatt an opponent on about a month's notice when we have seen fighters make their Octagon debut on just days notice in the past.

In fact, Ron Stallings made his UFC debut against the dangerous Uriah Hall on just six days notice back in January, and he got his face busted up in the process.

Maybe there is more to this story than meets the eye?
