California knows how to party. California also knows how to host big mixed martial arts (MMA) events, and Bellator 136 "Brooks vs. Jansen" promises to be another slobberknocker.

For "Ill" Will Brooks, the main event will be his first title defense since beating Michael Chandler to become the undisputed lightweight champion last year, and streaking Dave Jansen is more than ready, having yet to taste defeat in Bellator.

Bellator has fleshed out the card with five new fights, including a featured bout for Marcin Held (20-3), the man Jansen beat in the season seven lightweight tournament. He'll be paired off with the always impressive Alexander "Tiger" Sarnavskiy (30-2) in what could be a huge submission showdown.

Four preliminary bouts were also added to Bellator 136.

Jared "The Jackhammer" Papazian (18-11) vs. Raja Shippen (14-9-1), Joey "Mexicutioner" Beltran (15-11) vs. Brian "The Professional Predator" Rogers (11-7), lightweights Saad "Assassin" Awad (17-6) vs. Rob "C4" Sinclair (12-2) and Jonathan Santa Maria (3-0) vs. Steve Ramirez (0-1) will all be aired earlier in the night on Spike.com.

Bellator 136 "Brooks vs. Jansen" takes place April 10th, 2015 at the Bren Events Center in Irvine, California.
