Bellator 137: Brandon Halsey vs. Kendall Grove title fight set for May 15 on Spike TV

Bellator MMA Middleweight Champion Brandon Halsey will put his undefeated record on the line -- along with his 185-pound title -- when he takes on Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) import Kendall Grove in the main event of Bellator 137, which takes place on Fri., May 15, 2015 inside Pechanga Resort & Casino in Temecula, California.

"We're really looking forward to bringing another exciting world championship fight to a great sell-out crowd at Pechanga Resort & Casino this May," said Bellator President Scott Coker in today's release. "Our middleweight champion Brandon Halsey has been extremely impressive through his first eight fights, and I'm looking forward to watching him defend his belt for the first time against Kendall Grove."

Halsey (8-0) took the middleweight title by choking out Alexander Shlemenko last September, his fifth finish since his pro debut just over three years ago. Grove (21-14, 1 NC), meanwhile, got back into the win column by strangling Christian M'Pumbu at Bellator 127.
