The ONE: "Valor of Champions" fight card is complete for April 24 in Manila with the addition of three featherweight match ups including a bout between two of the most touted prospects in the division in the shape of Thailand's Shannon Wiratchai and Singapore's Amir Khan.
Khan (2-1) will be fighting for ONE Championship for the third time and the 20 year old is coming off back-to-back first-round stoppage wins while Wiratchai (3-1-0-1) didn't fight at all in 2014 but was last seen knocking out Mitch Chilson with a brutal soccer kick.
Khan is a full time member of the Evolve MMA fight team and is rated as Singapore's best prospect. He holds a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) and started competing in Muay Thai at a very young age, while Wiratchai comes from a Judo background but is best known for his right hook and will be representing the recently-opened Bangkok Fight Lab.
There will also be an all-FIlipino featherweight match up which pits north against south as Baguio's Edward Kelly (5-2) takes on undefeated Cebuano Jimmy Yabo (4-0-0-1). The former will be looking to snap a two-fight winning streak while the latter is making his promotional debut.
The third featherweight bout announced today sees two fighters from MMA markets which ONE Championship is looking to make inroads in go head-to-head as China's Wang Ya Wei (1-1), who finished runner up in the recent four man 145-pound tournament in Beijing, takes on Indonesia's Tsu Notto (2-0).
The card is headlined by a welterweight title fight between reigning champion Ben Askren and challenger Luis Santos and also features Filipino fighters Mark Striegl, Geje Eustaquio and Eugene Toquero. It will be available to purchase for 9.99 USD from: http://www.onefc.com/livestream.html
