"There could be three Bethe's together, or Bethe [the] word is five letters to spell that out? There could be five of her. Five chicks like that, they can't do shit to Ronda."
"Ronda's going to demolish her, you know in front of her home town so she could keep her mouth a bit closed. We usually don't get into female business when they're fighting, but definitely this chick talks a little bit too much, and Ronda's real excited to fight her, real focused, and is gonna eat her alive. That's what she's going to do"
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey's head coach Edmond Tarverdyan has built quite the confidence over "Rowdy" these past several years. After nearly cleaning out the 135-pound division in just two years of dominance, Rousey is a bonafide UFC superstar. Her next battle will see the Olympic judoka take on rival Bethe Correia down in Brazil in the main event of UFC 190 (see their staredown here), expected to go down inside HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on Aug. 1, 2015. Ronda's coach recently spoke with Submission Radio, and made it excruciatingly clear that he is supremely confident in "Rowdy" taking home the victory in dominant fashion over "Pitbull." In fact, Tarverdyan is convinced that five Bethe Correia's could not take out Rousey, and that certainly does not bode well for the Brazilian. With Rousey herself indicating she wants to "embarrass" Correia on fight night, maybe the UFC champ will show off some skills before finishing the job in less than thirty seconds.
