Mo money, mo problems ...

The dust has barely settled on UFC Fight Night 62: "Maia vs. LaFlare" from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, which means it's time to honor those select fighters who went above and beyond in their respective fights late last night (Sat., March 21, 2015).

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) dished out its standard post-fight monetary bonuses to four of the 24 fighters on the card, and it's probably no surprise who is heading home from South America with a little extra grease for their efforts.

Gilbert Burns, unsurprisingly, was recognized for his thrilling, come-from-behind win over UFC debutant Alex Oliveira, surviving a two-round beating to secure a third-round submission. Also tapping his way to the win column was Godofredo Castro, as "Pepey" disposed of Andre Fili with a "masterful" triangle choke.

That's not all.

"Prelims" fighters Kevin Souza and Freddy Serrano weren't interested in playing the ground game, instead ending their contests over Katsunori Kikuno and Bently Syler by way of thunderous fists, sending the Brazilian crowd into a frenzy with a pair of violent knockouts.

Once again, there was no "Fight of the Night." Here are the special UFC Fight Night 62 bonuses:

Performance of the Night -- Gilbert Burns
Performance of the Night -- Godofredo Pepe
Performance of the Night -- Kevin Souza
Performance of the Night -- Freddy Serrano

Again, each fighter received $50,000 extra for their performances in addition to their respective base salaries, which we will pass along if and when Brazil's athletic commission makes that information available later this week.
