UFC 185 'Embedded' video blog, Ep. 5: Pettis is 'always nervous,' Joanna talks trash in suspenders

New, 46 comments

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight kingpin Anthony Pettis seems to be a boy among men in the mixed martial arts (MMA) realm, but "Showtime" admitted he is "always nervous" for his fights because he has everything to lose, including his title in tonight's (Sat., March 14, 2015) showdown with Rafael Dos Anjos on pay-per-view (PPV).

The lightweight title is not the only belt on the line this evening, as Carla Esparza will look to defend her 115-pound strap against the dangerous Polish striker Joanna Jedrzejczyk.

In Episode 5 of the UFC "Embedded" series, the women's strawweight No. 1 contender ups the ante with her trash talk, promising to wipe the smile of Esparza's face come fight night, all while donning suspenders at media day!

The rest of the episode is centered around short clips from interviews and the Pettis brothers cutting weight alongside "Cookie Monster," so there is not much else to see. Check out episodes 1-4 of "Embedded" by starting here.
