UFC 185 'Embedded' video blog, Ep. 1: Pettis opens barber shop, Esparza shares Victoria's Secret

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) returns to the "Lone Star State" with a championship doubleheader atop the UFC 185: "Pettis vs. Dos Anjos" pay-per-view (PPV) fight card, locked and loaded for the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas, on Sat., March 14, 2015.

So, how are the main and co-main event competitors preparing for fight night?

The promotion has released its first of several UFC 185 "Embedded" pre-fight video blogs (see above) focusing on the final preparations of UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis, along with division No. 1 contender Rafael dos Anjos.

"Showtime" was getting so many haircuts, he figured it was easier to just open his own barbershop -- though Pettis quickly learned the hair business isn't all it's cracked up to be. His opponent, meanwhile, was fine-tuning his grappling and getting some family time in with his son.

That's not all.

The cameras also trailed 115-pound champion Carla Esparza, who will defend her strawweight title for the very first time when she meets Polish import Joanna Jedrzejczyk in the UFC 185 co-main event. "Cookie Monster" took a trip to the mall for some slinky threads, while her much-taller foe went for a plane ride to the Grand Canyon.

Fun!
