Could the former UFC heavyweight champion be making a comeback?

Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

"Apparently Brock Lesnar is a UFC fan and he was in town and wanted to come see the fight tonight. He's under contract with the WWE, and when his contract is up, I am sure he will call me."

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) President Dana White only gave one sentence to the media at the UFC 184 post-fight press conference (replay here) regarding former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar -- who was spotted at the Los Angeles event with White earlier in the evening. The UFC boss' wry smile was a dead giveaway that he fully expects to at least have contract negotiations with the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) champ once his contract over in the professional wrestling business is all wrapped up. With reports surfacing this week that Lesnar's negotiations with WWE CEO Vince McMahon have come to a standstill and his contract expiring following WrestleMania in late March, the rumors once again came flooding in regarding the potential return of the former heavyweight kingpin. With Lesnar making an appearance at the UFC PPV last night (Sat., Feb. 28, 2015) you can bet fuel was added to the fire.
