Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) brass put together a special "Welcome to the Show" press conference this afternoon (Sat., Feb. 28, 2015), highlighting several of the upcoming major bouts the world's leading mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion has scheduled in the coming months.

Watch the replay of the press conference here.

After about two hours of introductions, media questions, and a fantastic fan Q & A, White announced to the glee of everyone watching and in attendance that the fighters would be squaring off for photo-ops to conclude the show.

Fans got to see the first glimpses of Urijah Faber vs Frankie Edgar, Chad Mendes vs Ricardo Lamas, Luke Rockhold vs Lyoto Machida, and a whole lot more.

The final staredown featured the two top-ranked 205-pound fighters in the world, as UFC 187 main eventers Jon Jones and Anthony Johnson stepped up to the podium for their highly anticipated face-off.

While most of the staredowns prior to "Rumble" vs "Bones" lacked the sizzle we hoped to see, the light heavyweights decided to up the ante by trolling Dana White into believing they were about to brawl in similar fashion to Jones' now infamous UFC 178 media day brawl with former No. 1 contender Daniel Cormier.

Absolutely incredible.

Jones and Johnson will throw down -- for real -- at UFC 187 on May 23rd, as they main event one of the most stacked cards in UFC history. Check out the latest UFC 187 card, rumors, and news right here.
