UFC 184 fighter payouts for the main eventers competing on the "Rousey vs. Zingano" pay-per-view (PPV) main card this evening (Sat., Feb. 28, 2015) from inside the Staples Center in Los Angeles, were released earlier today by the California State Athletic Commission (CSAC).
In somewhat surprising news, UFC women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey will bank a guaranteed $65,000 for showing up and another $65,000 for winning, while No. 1 contender Cat Zingano will reportedly make $100,000 for showing up, and $100,000 more if she dethrones "Rowdy."
From LA Times reporter Lance Pugmire:
California commission tells me @RondaRousey guaranteed purse is 65,000 dollars and 65,000 more with a win.

And @CatZingano gets 100,000 guarantee plus 100,000 for a win.

No before we gather our pitchforks, Rousey has the opportunity to make quite a pretty penny depending on how the PPV sells, as the champ's contract stipulates she will earn PPV points.
Just how much will "Rowdy" earn? Early reports suggest over $1 million.
Told by @ufc official that @RondaRousey pay per view back end cut will allow her to surpass 1 million in earnings for this fight.

Of course, the salaries above do not include any of the "post fight" bonuses, nor sponsorships, percentages and other unofficial payments from UFC brass. Keep in mind the above figures also do not include deductions for expenses such as insurance, taxes, etc.
