What makes Ronda Rousey vs. Cat Zingano such a great fight?
Both ladies are known for their destructive, violent endings when it comes to mixed martial arts (MMA). Look no further than "Rowdy's" most recent title defense, a UFC 175 mauling of then-No. 1 contender Alexis Davis. Not only was the "Ally-Gator" skinned and pinned in just 16 seconds, she was so far out of it, she continued grappling with referee Yves Lavigne long after the bell.
See for yourself:
Scary stuff.
Zingano may not operate as quickly as Rousey, but she's no less terrifying when it comes to the finish. That's something former Strikeforce champion Miesha Tate learned (the hard way) when they went to war in The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 17 Finale in early 2013.
Have a look.
Ouch.
"Rousey vs. Zingano" takes place in the UFC 184 pay-per-view (PPV) main event this Saturday night (Feb. 28, 2015) inside the Staples Center in Los Angeles, Calif., and while both champion and challenger have knockout power, they are both fantastic ground fighters, as well.
So ... any guesses as to how this one ends?
