Cris Cyborg silences critics, passes random drug test for Invicta 11

Esther Lin

Green light, bitchez.

Former Strikeforce featherweight champion Cristiane Justino just got the go-ahead to defend her Invicta 145-pound strap against top contender Charmaine Tweet at the Invicta FC 11 event this Friday night (Feb. 27, 2015) inside the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California.

Her random, out-of-competition weapons drug test came back squeaky clean, according to the folks at the California State Athletic Commission (via MMA Fighting).

Justino (12-1, 1 NC) hasn't seen the inside of a cage in well over a year. She was expected to make her return -- and 135-pound debut -- at Invicta 10 last December on UFC Fight Pass; however, an ankle injury torpedoed her headlining act and sent her back to the sidelines.

If "Cyborg" can delete the Tweet this weekend in "The City of Angels," then perhaps UFC CEO Lorenzo Fertitta will be willing to close the deal?
