Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is going to find out who is the contender -- and who is the pretender -- in the lightweight co-main event for tonight's (Sun., Feb. 22, 2015) UFC Fight Night 61: "Bigfoot vs. Mir" mixed martial arts (MMA) event on FOX Sports 1, going down inside Gigantinho Gymnasium in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.
That's where No. 6-ranked Edson Barboza will battle No. 12-ranked Michael Johnson for a spot in the crowded 155-pound title chase.
Barboza (15-2) has 10 knockout/technical knockout finishes in 15 total wins, but the Brazilian has a tendency to stumble whenever he gets close to the promised land. That's not unlike his hard-hitting opponent, as Johnson (15-8) has struggled to stay consistent since "The Menace" graduated The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 12 back in 2010.
But when these guys are on, they're positively electric (proof).
