Floyd Mayweather vs Manny Pacquiao odds: 'Money' early favorite for May 2nd showdown in Vegas

Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

For nearly six years, boxing fans and combat sports fans alike have hoped to bear witness to Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs Manny Pacquiao in a boxing super fight for the ages.

After months of negotiating, and years of speculation, the undefeated Mayweather and eight-division world champion Pacquiao will finally square off inside the ring on May 2nd to unify three welterweight world titles at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Mayweather made the fight official yesterday when he posted a picture of the signed bout agreement.

In what will more than likely be the biggest combat sports event in history, you can bet a lot of money will be put on the line for the pugilistic showdown in just over two months time.

Just moments after the bout was announced, Vegas Insider released their odds for the super fight, and "Money" is the early favorite according to the experts:

Floyd Mayweather -295
Manny Pacquiao +230

That initial line has not changed much since earlier this month when the bout was only rumored to be going down, but considering the fight is 100 percent signed, it may be time to put your bets in before the lines change over the next 60 or so days.

Who are you betting on for this highly anticipated showdown?
