Taking a break from his Bellator MMA President duties, Scott Coker was in Arizona last evening (Sun., Feb. 1, 2015) for Super Bowl 49 to witness the biggest NFL game of the season.
Prior to kickoff, Coker made a prediction, expecting the New England Patriots to defeat the Seattle Seahawks 27-24. The former Strikeforce head also noted he was rooting for Tom Brady and the Patriots because the Seahawks had beaten his Bay-area team twice this season, the San Francisco 49ers.
After a close game that came down to the wire, the New England Patriots escaped with their first title in 10 years, by a score of 28-24.
So close Scott, so close.
Perhaps Coker met up with old pal, UFC President Dana White, after the game to celebrate.
