Get a detailed breakdown of the betting lines for the UFC Fight Night 61: "Mir vs. Bigfoot" event that is set to hit Ginasio Gigantinho in Porto Alegre, Brazil, this upcoming Sunday night (Feb. 22, 2015), including analysis, underdogs, favorites and much more.

Jason Silva-USA TODAY Sports

Thirty-four combined wins ... just five via decision.

The big boys are back at the helm this Sunday (Feb. 22, 2015) as Antonio "Bigfoot" Silva seeks to please the hometown crowd in Porto Alegre, Brazil, against fellow finishing machine, Frank Mir, headlining UFC Fight Night 61 inside Ginasio Gigantinho.

Elsewhere, Michael Johnson returns from almost one year on the sidelines to take on Edson Barboza, while suplex savant Rustam Khabilov looks to spoil Adriano Martins' homecoming.

It's a surprisingly-intriguing FOX Sports 1 -televisedcard. Here's what's in store on the gambling side of things:

UFC Fight Night 61 Odds For The Under Card:

Jessica Andrade (-245) vs. Marion Reneau (+175)
William Macario (-260) vs. Matt Dwyer (+180)
Tiago dos Santos (-190) vs. Mike de la Torre (+150)
Wendell Oliveira (-140) vs. T.J. Waldburger (EVEN)
Cody Gibson (-210) vs. Douglas Silva (+160)
Ivan Jorge (-260) vs. Josh Shockley (+180)

Thoughts: I’m always on the hunt for underdogs I can recommend a bet on and, in the rare occasion where they actually pull through, use to lord my knowledge over the plebeians. Unfortunately for my delusions of grandeur, I’m not seeing many prospective diamonds in this rough.

I do think, however, that Macario is worth a look ... even at -260.

I just feel like "Patolino" is all wrong for Dwyer. Though he’ll be fighting at a considerable height disadvantage, Dwyer does not use his length and is far too hittable to survive the artillery Macario brings to the table. Though the Brazilian has a few flaws he needs to fix, namely a tendency to back straight up when pressured, he should be able to dispose of Dwyer without much trouble.

UFC Fight Night 61 Odds For The Main Card:

Antonio Silva (-240) vs. Frank Mir (+200)
Edson Barboza (-175) vs. Michael Johnson (+135)
Cezar Ferreira (-265) vs. Sam Alvey (+185)
Rustam Khabilov (-300) vs. Adriano Martins (+220)
Iuri Alcantara (-315) vs. Frankie Saenz (+235)
Sean Strickland (-210) vs. Santiago Ponzinibbio (+160)

Thoughts: Though I consider it a 50-50 fight, the odds disparity in the Khabilov-Martins fight makes a bet on the latter statistically viable.

Martins may not have the name or exposure that Khabilov has had and he may have gotten laid out by Cerrone, but underestimate him at your own peril. He’s one of the biggest men in the division, packs real power in his hands, and has a brutal top game. Even with Khabilov’s suplex prowess, I believe they’re eventually going to duke it out on the feet and I’m not sure who takes it there.

Therefore, a small bet on Martins makes sense.

Alcantara may be a good person to parlay Macario with, as I’m pretty certain he’s going to annihilate Saenz with extreme prejudice.

UFC Fight Night 61 Best Bets:

  • Parlay -- William Macario and Iuri Alcantara: Bet $60 to make $49.58
  • Single bet -- Adriano Martins: Bet $30 to make $66

A fun heavyweight match up, some fights between elite lightweights and some excellent bouts scattered throughout -- a bloody Sunday seems to be in store.

See you there, Maniacs!
